Brooke is an NYC-based performer, choreographer, and educator with a passion for mentoring the next generation of dancers. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment, while challenging students to grow in their artistry and work ethic. As a young artist herself, Brooke brings a fresh, energetic perspective and a natural connection to today’s generation of dancers. Her classes range from contemporary to classic musical theatre style.

Brooke grew up in the competitive dance world, training and touring with national conventions including DanceMakers Inc. (The Collective and Collective JV) and Tremaine Dance (Dancer of the Year). She now choreographs for competitive studios across the country, setting solos, small groups, and production numbers with an emphasis on musicality, individuality, and performance.

A recent graduate of the Texas State University BFA Musical Theatre program, Brooke herself has performed at major regional Equity theaters including The Muny, Paper Mill Playhouse, and Kansas City Starlight Theatre. Aside her competition dance perspective, Brooke also brings a perspective on how dance translates into the Broadway theatre world, and how they go hand-in-hand.

 

Her choreography credits include Sweeney Todd at Texas State, as well as assistant choreography for The Wizard of Oz and The Great Comet of 1812 at ZACH Theatre in Austin, alongside her mentor Josh Assor. She is represented by CESD Dance.
